RECENT PROJECTS

Upcoming Residency at the Mercury Store
Charlotte is currently developing a new dance theater piece along playwright Diana Ly. Entitled BODIES, BONES, BLOOD, the piece follows the journey of four female-identifying archeologists living in a near-future dystopia. Each night, the women are haunted by the spirits and memories they are digging up. Eventually, they discover an otherworldly escape route, which leads to fissures in the group as they must decide if it’s better to stay in their reality, or leap into the unknown. The piece was awarded a residency at Baryshnikov Arts in 2025 and will have another workshop this summer at the Mercury Store.

BALDWIN ET LUCIEN @ Kaastbaan
The team from BALDWIN ET LUCIEN recently had a two-week residency at Kaastbaan Cultural Park. Experience this Broadway-bound original play by playwright and actor R. Jahan. Set in the winter of 1952 in a secluded chalet in Loeche-les-Bains, Switzerland, Baldwin et Lucien is a surrealist drama that imagines an intimate chapter in the life of a young James Baldwin and his one true love, Lucien Happersberger. Charlotte reprised her role as Lucien's wife.

MERCURY FUR PREMIERES AT THE GENE FRANKEL THEATER
Produced by Skené Theater Company, Charlotte directed this provocative play by Philip Ridley for a run at the historic Gene Frankel Theater in NYC. See more under CHOREOGRAPHY + DIRECTION.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

IMPROV FOR ACTORS @ HB Studio
Ten-week course in person at HB Studio. Thursdays from 6-8:30pm. Pre-registration required at the beginning of each new semester.
Click HERE for full details.
In this course, you will learn how to use improvisation to foster creativity, authenticity and deeper connections in your acting work. We will be looking at ways that improv is directly applicable to and used in the craft of acting; whether it be in the context of an audition, or in rehearsal with a director that likes to work with improvised exercises to build out backstory and to generate blocking. You will gain the necessary tools to structure viable improvisations (with emphasis on circumstances, relationships, tension, and subtext) that you can then use to prepare characters, monologues, scenes and audition material. Actors of all levels are welcome.
